How Old Should You Be Before Taking Creatine?

I recommend waiting until the age of 18. There isn’t any scientific evidence saying it’s bad to start younger, but I tend to be cautious. There wouldn’t be much benefit until age 13, when hormones really start to kick in. If you are younger than 18 and want to try creatine, I suggest two things:

1. Talk to your doctor.
2. Take a low dose (2.5g per day) one month on, one month off.
